On October, 18th in BSAM the master class with Ira Spaulding in which frameworks there has passed work with Student choir of the BSAM over M.Hogan’s Negro spirituals – “I can tell the world” and “The Battle of Jericho” has taken place.
Ira Spaulding was born in New York, New Jersey, East university of Kentucky (the bachelor and the master of music) studied in Westminster choral college in Princeton. Has given numerous concerts in America, taught voice training, vocal pedagogics and the literature, conducted numerous ensembles and choruses. In 1981 Ira Spaulding has moved to Europe where its popularity as the choral conductor, the soloist and the teacher has instantly increased.
On the Dutch teleshow “Young men on a concert podium” it debuted as the executor with the Amsterdam philharmonic orchestra. Its solo concerts were organised on cities of Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, the Netherlands and passed with tremendous success. For today Ira Spaulding has acted and has given master classes more than in 50 countries of the world, among which Argentina, Bolivia, Greece, Malta, Russia, Saudi Arabia and others.
