
Rewarding
During the period from June, 3rd till June, 10th 2011 we took part in two Germany largest musical events: the international festivals HARMONIE FESTIVAL 2011 (Limburg) and KLANGVOCAL Musikfestival (Dortmund).
HARMONIE FESTIVAL 2011 is one of the largest world festivals-competitions. This year it has collected more than 190 musical collectives from 40 countries.By 6th HARMONIE FESTIVAL 2011 it was spent under home nursing of the chancellor of Federal Republic of Germany, Angela Merkel’s Dr.Radio and television companies of 11 countries and more than 80 newspapers and magazines unanimously inform on high level of competitive actions, folklore and spiritual concerts and about good organization of festival as a whole.Artistic director of the HARMONIE FESTIVAL 2011 is Jan Schumacher. Honorary president is Jeroen Schrijner (former President of Europa Cantat from 2003 till 2009).
Our chorus has taken part in 4 competitive categories «youth choruses», «chamber female choruses», «the mixed choruses», «a jazz vocal and other genres» (ensemble performance).
The student chorus of the Academy was listened to, and the following awards were given:
- The gold certificate and 1 place (“Participated with outstanding success”) in the category «Youth Choirs»;
- The gold certificate and 1 place (“Participated with outstanding success”) in the category «Female Chamber Choirs»;
- The gold certificate and 3 place (“Participated with outstanding success”) in the category «Mixed Choirs»;
- The silver certificate (“Participated with very great success”) in the category «Jazz-vocal et cetera» (ensemble performance of students under management Evgeniya Grigorovich and Andrey Savritsky).
Moreover out team has taken part in 2 festival concerts.
The appreciation to performances of chorus BSAM was given by members of the international jury, famous representatives of musical culture of Europe: Prof. Robert Sund (Sweden), Juergen Budday (Germany), Prof. Theodora Pavlovitch (Bulgaria), Prof. Wolfgang Schäfer (Germany), Anna Tarnowska (Poland), Reijo Kekkonen (Finland); the organizers of the festival, in particular its art director Charles-Hajnts Dernbah, listeners of concerts and competitive performances, participants of choral collectives of various countries.
