CONDITIONS OF THE COMPETITION
The competition involved young conductors and students choral music departments of universities of the Republic of Belarus and other countries from 17 to 27 years.
To enter the contest must be no later than November 1, 2011 to submit to the Organizing Committee (dean of vocal-choral department) or send an e-mail choirbgam@gmail.com:
1) the application of mandatory forms
2) free-form creative biography of the Russian, Belarusian and English languages;
3) 10×15 color photo;
4) The unedited video of the choir (3-7 minutes) in digital form;
5) The recommendation of the teacher.
Receipt of applications, their primary consideration and selection of candidates shall Organizing Committee, which determines compliance filings conditions of the competition. Invitations will be sent to competitors by e-mail personally not later than 8 November 2011. List of contestants will be published on websites and www.bgam.edu.bywww.choirbgam.by no later than 14 November 2011.
Documents submitted to the Organizing Committee will not be returned.
Payment of all costs associated with staying in the competition (round trip, hotel accommodation, daily subsistence allowance), produced by the participants themselves or directing the organization.
The final contest of the light of the rounds I and II will be held at the conclusion of the jury.
The jury’s decision is final and not subject to revision.
Winners of the Second open tender choral conductors named People’s Artist of USSR, Professor VV Rovdo (on his 90th birthday) will receive the following prizes:
I place – 700,000 rubles
II place – 500,000 rubles
III place – 200,000 rubles
The state and public organizations, mass media, institutions, creative unions, and individuals can set up special prizes for the competition, which awarded the jury.
COMPETITION SCHEDULE
Auditions are open and consist of two rounds in which participants will demonstrate the work of the choir. The second round will be allowed no more than half of the first round.
The order of speeches at the competition and choice of products to work with the choir chosen by lot. In the audition involved a student choir BGAM.
First round – work with the student choir of the two works. Works are selected by lot from groups A, B, C Working time for each participant – 12-15 minutes.
Second round (not more than half of the first round) – work with the student choir of the three products and their obligatory concert. Works are selected by lot from groups A, B, C Working time for each participant – 35-40 minutes.
