«CHORAL PAGES OF THE XX-TH CENTURY»
Our choral collective led by Inessa Bodyako represents the project «CHORAL PAGES of the XX-th CENTURY» in which frameworks philharmonic concerts of modern Polish, Swiss and Bulgarian choral music have already taken place.
From September, 26 till September, 30th 2006 together with the Polish institute in Minsk with support of the international department of Academy of music by chair of choral conducting the project «MODERN TRADITIONS of CHORAL CULTURE in POLAND» has been carried out. as a project basis between the Belarus State Academy of Music and Academy of Music of K.Lipinskogo the Contract on cooperation has served in Wroclaw. Represented academy the senior lecturer MARTA VITCHAK-KERSKA . Within the limits of the project the master class has taken place, lessons with choral collective of chair and a round table “Modern traditions of choral culture of Poland” are conducted. The philharmonic concert of the Polish choral music in which the concert chorus of students of the Belarus State Academy of Music which M.Vitchak-Kerska conducted participated became the ending.
From February, 23 till February, 28th 2009 within the limits of the project «CHORAL PAGES of the XX-th CENTURY» known the SWISS CONDUCTOR of RAINER HELD has presented musical culture of the country. Under its management have passed rehearsals with concert chorus of Academy of Music which have come to the end with a concert on February, 28th, 2009 in a Small hall of G.Shirmy of the Belarus State Philharmonic. Listeners had unique possibility to hear product which not only were executed for the first time in Belarus, and also some of them have been written specially for this project. With 2005 R.Held is the president of the musical commission of the Swiss choral society “SCV/USC” which consists of 2000 Swiss choruses and totals about 60.000 singers. Therefore during conference which has taken place on February, 24th students of our Academy had possibility not only to learn about features of culture of polyglot and multinational Switzerland, but to hear and to estimate a variety of performing and composer traditions. On February, 25th has passed R.Held’s master class with students of department of choral conducting. In work pieces by Swiss composers – A.Derung, A.Dukre, F.Martin, which also have sounded in a final concert have been presented.
In 2010 “The BULGARIAN PAGE” with the conductor and the composer DRAGOMIR NENOV has been opened. On May, 18th and on May, 19th he gave lectures “Modern traditions of choral culture of Bulgaria” and “Choral scores of the Bulgarian composers of the XX-th century”, the professor also has conducted open lessons for students of our Academy on choral conducting and singing. The final concert in which under control of conductor Dragomir Nenov our chorus has acted, has taken place on May, 22nd, 2010 in the Small hall of G.Shirmy of the Belarus State Philharmonic.

DRAGOMIR NENOV has ended the State musical academy «Pancho Vladigerov» in Sofia, Ferraro trained in the Roman conservatory «Site of Chechilija» at the maestro Ex. Worked as the art director and the leading conductor of the Plevensky philharmonic society, the conductor of Opera symphonic national radio, the Plovdivsky opera, and also taught in the State musical academy in Sofia. Conducted in Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Romania, Poland, etc. Is the constant judge at the international competitions of opera art «Hopes, talents, masters» (Dobrich – Albena, Bulgaria) and the International competition of young opera singers (Minsk, Belarus), also was the judge at the International competition of Orthodox Church Chanting in Minsk. Dragomir Nenov is a member of the Bulgarian Union of composers. Among his compositions – Kontsertino for an oboe and an orchestra, the Suite «the Dream about happiness» on the text of Pencho Slavejkova for a soprano, a string band and a harp, Diptih for a piano on Pavel Matveeva’s text, and also theatrical music, choral and children’s songs, folklore processings, etc.
It is actively printed in periodicals, is the author of books «Problem of orchestras of amateur performance» and «The Conductor about an opera», the co-author of many proceedings.
