As one Сoncert Сhoir choral conducting department of the Belarusian State Academy of Music first took part in the First International Competition of music institutes in CIS and Europe in 1995 in Chisinau (Moldova), where he received a “Gran Prix”. Unchanged artistic and creative director of the choir was a People’s Artist of USSR, Ph.D., Professor Viktor Rovdo (1921-2007). Under his leadership, the student team has participated in various festivals, musical festivals and concerts in Russia, the Baltic States and his native Belarus. Recognition of a high-level performing choir evidenced by numerous awards.
In recent years, in Belarus and abroad chorus with great success was filled with a variety of vocal and symphonic works: The Ninth Symphony of Beethoven, “Magnificat” and “St John Passion” IS Bach’s “Christmas Tale” by G. Schutz, Mass in C minor, VA Mozart, opera, J. Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess “, the Thirteenth Symphony of Shostakovich (male choir) and other project choir presents” Choral Page XX “, in which already held Philharmonic concerts of contemporary Polish and Swiss choral music. In November 2008, for a concert in memory of Professor Victor ROVDO student team has prepared and performed in the choreography choral concert Kiseleva “Russian Wedding”, dedicated to Viktor, and released a CD with video of the speech.
The team has participated in international choral festivals: 2009 – Paparats-Kvetka (Minsk, Belarus), 2010 – Chorus Inside (Moscow, Russia), Singing World (St.Petersburg, Russia).

Currently, the artistic director and conductor of the choir Inessa BODYAKO, a student of Professor Victor ROVDO.
