In april 17, 2012 in concert hall of Belarusian State Academy of Music was carried out an evening, dedicated to 170 year from birthday of the founder of Ukraine Classical music, composer Nikolay Vasilievich Lysenko. In this concert, which was organized with Social Union of Ukrainians in Minsk, took a part creative collectives of Ukrainian diaspora and Belorussian State Academy of Music.
The opening of the concert was performed by the Student’s Choir of BSAM. Compositions, that was sounded: N. Leontovich “Christ is risen”, S. Taneev “Evening”, M. Koval “Rising of the sun”, Turyshev “Smoke”, Ukrainian folk song “The wide Dnieper roars and moans”.
Also in presentation of students of BSAM and Ukrainian Diaspora were performed compositions of N. Lysenko, A. Beloshitsky, G. Gorelova, E. Glebov, also ukrainian and belorusian folk songs.
