On June, 10th, 2011 the Choir of the BSAM took part in the international festival Klangvocal (Dortmund, Germany).
The festival was opened by the perfomance of an opera of Guseppe Verdi «Il Corsaro» under conducting of Carlo Montanaro (Italy).
The Choir of the BSAM has been awarded honour to participate in performance and recording of the opera together with such leading singers of the world , as Maria Guleghina, Sebastian Catana, Elena Mosuc, Adrian Sampetrean, Florian Simson.
Perfomance of choir was highly appreciated by one of the most demanded European conductors of Carlo Montanaro, and also by actors of a symphonic orchestra of the West German radio (WDR Rundfunkorchester Köln) and audio engineers of the largest studio of Europe -WDR.
The international festival “Klangvocal” passes from June, 10th till July, 2nd on a theme «the Mediterranean – a culture cradle». In the festival program there are traditional music of Naples, music of Venice of the Baroque epoch, court music of Granada and Istanbul, a flamenco from Spain and many other things.
The director of festival Torsten Mosgraber has presented to public of stars of the international level from 20 countries, among them Russian prima donna Maria Guleghina, the owner of the award of Gremmi, the cultural ambassador of UNESCO Hordi Saval, Roberta Gambarini’s young jazz stars and Grethen Parlato.
